1961-6905WHEREAS, the City Council did, heretofore, to wit,
on May 2, 1961, adopt Resolution No. 6850 accepting a grant
from Pacific Electric Railway Company of the right to con-
struct, reconstruct, maintain and operate a 69 -inch reinforced
concrete drain pipe upon and across certain property of Pacific
Electric Railway Company described in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, as a condition for the granting of said
right or easement upon and across said property for the con-
struction and operation of said drain pipe, the City of
Anaheim did agree to pay to Pacific Electric Railway Company
the sum of $2,900.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Director of Finance be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Pacific
Electric Railway Company for said easement for said 69 -inch
drain pipe granted to the City of Anaheim and accepted by
Resolution No. 6850, the sum of $2,900.00.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 16th day of May, 1961.
