RESOLUTION NO'-3426
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM GRANTING A VARIANCE. (60.3)
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
,~ Anaheim did receive a petition from the property owner~ and/or
Agent of certain real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as
follows:
Starting at a point on the Easterly right-of-way
line of North Euclid Avenue, a distance of 10.6.50.
feet from the centerline of West La Palma Avenue,
and extending Northerly 77 feet; thence Easterly
150 feet; thence Southerly 77 feet; thence Westerly
150. feet to the point of beginning.
and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public
hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said petition
on A~~t 6. 1956 , notices of which said public hearings
were u y given as required by law and the provisions of Section
9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
~HEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, invest-
igation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due
consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
did adopt its Resolution No. 22 recommending to the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Variance No.~ be granted upon the
conditions stated in said resolution; ana----
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that:
1. There are exceptional or extraordinary circum-
stances or conditions applicable to the pro~erty in-
volved or to the intended use of the property that
do not apply generally to the property or class of
use in the same vicinity and zone.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that a conditional zoning variance be, and the

fOloW1ng PUrposes:
A real estate office, subject to the following
conditions:
2. That such a variance is necessary for the pre-
servation and enjoyment of a substantial property
right possessed by other property in the same vicinity
and zone and denied to the property in question.
3. That the granting of such variance will not be
materially detrimental to the public welfare or in-
jur10us to the property or improvements in such
vicinity and zone in which the property is located.
4. That the granting of such variance will not
adverselYJaffect the comprehensive general zoning plan.

1. That the owners of subject property deed to
the City of Anaheim a strip of land 20 feet
in depth along Euclid Avenue for street
widening purposes.
2. That the frontage along Euclid Avenue be
widened and improved as directed by the City
Engineer.
3. That the off-street parking area on the north
side of the property be black-topped or oiled
to eliminate a dust nuisance.
4. That Variance No. 603, hereby granted, shall
expire one (1) year from date hereof.
The City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke
such variance permit for good cause or failure of said owners,
their heirs, successors or assigns to comply with the Anaheim
Municipal Code and regulations and the conditions herein.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 14th day of August, 1956.
