A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING THE REQUEST OF
GEORGE W. SCHNEIDER FOR CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO. 111.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit from
GEORGE W. SCHNEIDER, 13012 Euclid Avenue, Garden Grove, Calif-
ornia, to operate a Go -Kart Arena on the following described
property:
Beginning at a point in the South line of
Section 6, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B.& M., distant along said South line
of said Section 6, Township 4 South, Range 10
West S. B. B. M., North 89° 21 20" East
600.88 feet from the Southwest corner of the
Southeast quarter of said Section 6, thence
at right angles to said South line of said
Section 6, North 0° 38 40" West 479.56 feet
to the Southwesterly line of the 100 -foot
right of way conveyed to the Western Develop-
ment Company by deed recorded June 12, 1876
in Book 44, page 496 of Deeds, records of
Los Angeles County, California; thence along
said Southwesterly line of the 100 -foot right
of way conveyed to the Western Development
Company by deed recorded June 12, 1876 in
Book 44, page 496 of Deeds, records of Los
Angeles County, California, South 57° 131 30"
East 861.89 feet to the East line of the
Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of
said Section 6; thence along said East line
South 0 451 55" East 4.86 feet to said South
line of said Section 6; thence along said South
line of said Section 6, South 89° 21 20" West
719.40 feet to the point of beginning being a
portion of that portion of the Southwest quarter
of the Southeast quarter of Section 6, lying
Southwesterly of the Southwesterly line of the
100 -foot right of way conveyed to the Western
Development Company by deed recorded June 12,
1876 in Book {!I, page 496 of Deeds, records of
Los Angeles County, California.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said
request on April 17, 1961, notices of which said public hearing
were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18,
Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, in-
vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at
said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. 232, Series 1960 -61,
denying Conditional Use Permit No. 111; and

WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty days from the date
of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed
with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the
action of the City Planning Commission denying said Conditional
Use Permit, and said appeal was set for public hearing on
May 2, 1961 at 7 :00 otclock P.M. at the City Hall in the City
of Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given
as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter
18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to
be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning Com-
mission and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
that Conditional Use Permit No. 111 should be denied;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commis-
sion denying Conditional Use Permit No. 111 be, and the same is
hereby sustained, and that the request of GEORGE W. SCHNEIDER,
13012 Euclid Avenue, Garden Grove, California, for a Conditional
Use Permit to operate a GO-Kart Arena on the property hereinabove
described, be, and the same is hereby, denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 2nd day of May, 1961.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the

and Schutte.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 2nd day of
May, 1961.
