RESOLUTION NO. 3391
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM GRANTING
A VARIANCE (NO. 571).
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did receive a petition from the property owner
and/or agent of certain real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, des-
oribed as follows:
That portion of Section 13, Township 4
South, Range 11 West, S.B.B. & M., des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at a point in the North line
of said Seotion, distant Easterly along
said line 836.70 feet, from the North-
west oorner of said Section; thenoe South
00 35' 37" E, and parallel with the West
line of said Section to the intersection
of this course with a line which is para-
llel with and distant Southerly, 1338.77
feet, measured at right angles from said
North line; thence along said parallel
line, 165.80 feet, thence North 0035137"
W, to a point in said North line, dis-
tant Westerly thereon, 165.80 feet from
the point of beginning; thenoe Easterly
along said North line, to the point of
beginning.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon
said petition on June 18, 1956, notices of which said public
hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions
of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal COde; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, in-
vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered
at said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. 222, Series
1955-56, reoommending to the City Council of the City of Ana-
heim that Variance No. 571, be granted upon the conditions
stated in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that:

1. There are exceptional or extraordinary circum-
stances or conditions applicable to the property
involved or to the intended use of the property
that do not apply generally to the property or
class of use in the same vicinity and zone.
2. That such a variance is necessary for the pre-
servation and enjoyment of a substantial prop-
erty right possessed by other property in the
same vicinity and zone and denied to the prop-
erty in question.
J. That the granting of such varianoe will not be
materially detrimental to the public welfare or
injurious to the property or improvements in such

vicinity and zone in which the property is
located.

4. That the granting of suoh variance will not
adversely affect the comprehensive general
zoning plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Com-
mission granting Varianoe No. 571 requesting permission to
operate a real estate business with signs on the property here-
inabove described be, and the same is hereby, sustained and
that Variance No. 571 be, and the same is hereby granted to
Michael J. Roll, 8142 Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim,California, upon
the following conditions:
1.
That improved off-street parking be provided
for a minimum of three cars.
That two signs only shall be installed parallel
to the building and said signs shall not be
larger than 10' x 4'.
That all structures shall be placed a minimum
of 76 feet from the center line of the highway.
The City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke
such variance permit for good cause or failure of said owner
or his heirs, successors or assigns to comply with the Anaheim
Kunicipal Code and regulations and the oonditions herein. Said
variance is granted for the term presoribed by the Anaheim Muni-
oipal Code unless otherwise specified herein.
