1961-7193WHEREAS, the problems of the deterioration of central
areas of established cities is reaching a point where steps
should be taken to reverse present trends; and
WHEREAS, the problems of the City of Anaheim parallel
those of other metropolitan areas and have become the grave con-
cern of this Council; and
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that an Urban Renewal
Advisory Committee of citizens should be appointed to assist
the members of the City Council in dealing with the problems
of urban renewal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim appoint, and there is hereby appointed,
an Urban Renewal Advisory Committee consisting of the following
members:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of said
Urban Renewal Advisory Committee serve in such capacity at the
pleasure of the City Council.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
