1962-0072WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from
JESSE ARRIOLA and DOLORES N. ARRIOLA, owners
of certain real property situated in the City of AniFFTE ty
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
October 16 19 61 notice of which said public hearing was
duly g vet n as` required by law and the provisions of Title 18,
Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission after due
inspection, investigation_and studies made by itself and in its
behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No. 107 Series
19 61 -62 denying. Variance No. 11107 and
WHEREAS, thereafter within twenty-two (22):days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council did
elect, upon its own motion, to review the action taken by the City
Planning Commission in denying said variance and did set a
public hearing thereon to be held on the ?1st day of Nnvem
1961 at 7100 o'clock P.M. In the Ci"y all in the City o
Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given as
required by law and the provisions of Title 18,.Chapter 18.76 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO.
Lot 6 of Gresswell Subdivision, as shown
on a map recorded in Book 6, Page 47 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California.
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that:
1. There is no__substantial property right.,possessed
by other property in the same vicinity_and zone
and denied the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be
adequately developed and used under the present
zone.

and that the request of Jesse Arriola and Dolores N. Arriola
for a variance permitting a waiver of the minimum livable floor
area requirement, a waiver of parking space and exterior side
yard requirements, and the encroachment of a garage upon the

and the same is hereby, denied.
