1961-7462RESOLUTION NO. 7462 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY_ PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road,and public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha ve offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS., the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of J. EARL TALCOTT and. F COTT husban and wife A to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: PARCEL ONE: An easement for road and public utility purposes under and across those parcels of land described as follows: The Westerly 53,00 feet (as measured at right angles to the center line of Euclid Avenue) of Lot One (1) of that portion of Section Lj, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., as shown on a Map filed in Book 1, page 55 of Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California. (For the purpose of this description the West line of the above mentioned Lot One is assumed to be the center line of Euclid Avenue.) (This easement is restricted from the installation of electric power poles and power lines.) PARCEL TWO: Beginning at a point distant 53.00 feet Easterly of the Northwest corner of Lot One described above in Parcel One, being for the purpose of this description the center line inter- section of Euclid Avenue and Romneya Drive; thence Easterly along the center line of Romneya Drive 15.00 feet; thence Southerly parallel with the center line of Euclid Avenue to the inter- section of a line parallel with and 32.00 feet Southerly of the center line of said Romneya Drive; thence Southwesterly to the intersection with a line parallel with and 53.00 feet Easterly of the center line of Euclid Avenue and 47 feet Southerly of the center line of Romneya Drive; thence Northerly along the last mentioned parallel line to the point of beginning. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property. -1- $E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be and he is hereby, authorized to Pay to the owners of said teal prdperty out Of General Punds of tilts City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1000)0 THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 19th day of December 9 19 61 ATTEST ii yLER 6 T CI9 STATE OF CALIPORIIA COUNTY OF ORANGE s s CITY OF ANAHEIM I DENE M.
