A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AJS1D PLJRLIC tiTILTTY
PURPOSES_
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HERBERT E, LAWSON and
LOUISE LAWSON husband and wife.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the,following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Northerly 30.00 feet of that
portion of Section Nine, Township Four South, Range
Ten West, also being that portion of Lot Four (4.) of
Fleischmann's Subdivision, as shown on a Map filed
in Book 1, Page 56 of Record of Surveys in the office
of the County Recorder of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Westerly line of the land
conveyed to John James Schneider, recorded October 18,
1947 in Book 1559, Page 225 of Official Records of said
Orange County, North 0 05' 00" East 329.44 feet from
the Southwest corner of said land; thence continuing
along said Westerly line, North 0 05' 00" East 96.56
feet; thence South 85 19' 00" West 152.37 feet, parallel
with the Southerly line of said Lot Four (4), to the
Westerly line of said Lot Four (4); thence South 0 05'
00" West 63.90 feet along said Westerly line; thence
South 89 55' 00" East 151.84 feet to the point of
beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be and he is hereby authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property„ out of General Funds of the City 4of
Anaheim the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
