A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY. OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THij TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of. the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 61 -62 -35 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from p :.rsons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a. resoiu
tion containing a report of its findings, a, summary of the evi-
dence presented at said hearing and a recommendation that the
proposed amendment be adopted by the.City Council and that Erg
tain. zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Councii did fix the 14th day of
November 19 61 as the time, and the City Council :hem-
bers in the City Hein the City of Anaheim as the place fur a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, here-
inafter described, from the zone in which it is now situated and
the incorporation thereof in the zone hereinafter forth;
and did give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided
in said Title 18 of said Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public
hearing before the Planning Commission, its repot of findings,
and recommendation; and
WHAREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code shouid
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in Which it is now situated,
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Councilor
the City of Anaheim that Tie 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby amended, and that the following des-
cribed property, situated in the. City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:

PARCEL 1: The Easterly32.5 feet of Lot 1 of
Tract 3370, as shown on a map recorded in Book
1)Ot, Page 8 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California.
PARCEL 2: That portion of the North 30.00 feet
of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter
of Section 1, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in
the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
as per map recorded in book 51, page 10 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the 'county
recorder of said county, together with that
portion of lot 2 of South Placentia Tract No.
2 as per map recorded in book 5, page ){2 of said
Miscellaneous Maps, described as a whole as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Tract
No. 1353, as per map recorded in book 105 pages
23 to 26 inclusive of said Miscellaneous Maps;
thence South 33 584 IL" East 15.00 feet along
the southwesterly line of said Tract No. 1353 to
the beginning of a curve, concave northeasterly
having a radius of 50.00 feet; thence south-
easterly 49.15 feet along said curve to the
North line of Tract No. 3370, as per map recorded
in book 1)01 pages 7 and 8 of said Miscellaneous
Maps; thence westerly along said North line to
the most northerly northwest corner of said
Tract 3370; thence North 56° Olt 46" East to the
point of beginning;
be excluded from the R -A, RESIDENTIAL- AGRICULTURAL ZONE and
R -3, MULTIPLE- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and incorporated in the
following zone or zones;
C -3, HEAVY COMMERCIAL ZONE,
upon the following conditions:
1. That a 3 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed
along the northeast side of the triangular portion
of subject property and along the north side of
the rectangular portion of subject property to pro-
hibit ingress to and egress from the service
station on the abutting alley; that a 6 -foot
masonry wall shall be constructed along the east
side of the rectangular portion of subject pro-
perty; and that said walls shall be constructed
prior to final building inspection.
2. That the owners of subject property shall place
of record City of Anaheim C -3 Deed Restrictions,
approved by the City Attorney, which restrictions
shall limit the uses of the property to a service
station or any C -1, Neighborhood Commercial Zone
uses.

3. That subject property shall be developed
substantially in accordance with plans
marked 'Exhibit 2" on file with the
City of Anaheim.
4. That Condition No. 2 above mentioned
shall be complied with within 180 days from
date hereof, or such further time as the
City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and de-
termined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by

14th day of November, 1961.
