1961-7351RESOLUTION NO. 7351 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING TFLT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of. the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed- ings No, 60- 61 -104 to consider an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning and to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did receive evidence and reports from arsons interested therein and from its staff; and WHEREAS, within a period of forty days fol. ?owing said hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resoi.u.- tion containing a report of its findings, a' summary of the evi- dence presented at said hearing and a recommendation that the proposed amendment be adopted by the.City Council and that cer- tain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter forth; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Plan- ning Commission, the City Counci.i did fix the llth day of 1961 as the time, and the City Council ."hem- bars In t e City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place fur a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, here- inafter described, from the zone in which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the zone hereinafter set forth; and did give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of said Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public, hear- ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there- upon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its repo, t. of rtdings, and recommendation; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should be excluded from the zone or zones in Which it is now situated, and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that T., e 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended, and that the following des cribed property, situated in the. City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to wit: 60 -61 -104 The Northerly 200 feet of Lot 7 of Orange Grove Acres, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 6, Page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps on file in the office of the County Recorder of said county, measured along the West line of said Lot 7 from the center line of the street adjoining said lot on the North, of the Westerly 120.00 feet measured along said center line. be excluded from the R -A, RESIDENTIAL- AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and incorporated in the following zone or zones upon the conditions hereinafter set forth: That a strip of land 50 feet in width, lying South of and contiguous to the land to be deeded to the City of Anaheim along La Palma Avenue, for street widening purposes, be changed to P -L, PARKING LANDSCAPING ZONE; and That the remainder of said property be changed to M -1, LIGHT MANUFACTURING ZONE, upon the following conditions: 1. That the owner of subject property shall deed to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 53 feet in width, from the center line of the street, along La Palma Avenue for street widening purposes. 2. That all engineering requirements of the City of Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street grading and paving, drainage facilities, or other appurtenant work shall be complied with as required by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City Engineer and that said engineering requirements or improve- ments shall be installed at the time the property is developed. 3. That the owner of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot for street lighting purposes at the time the property is developed, or shall install street lights as required and approved by the -2- Utilities Director of the City of Anaheim at the time subject property is developed. L.. That said 50 -foot P -1L, PARKING LANDSCAPING ZONE along La Palma Avenue shall be land- scaped, and said landscaping maintained, except for access drives or walks; and that plans for said landscaping and the water supply system shall be submitted to and approved by the Superintendent of Parkway Maintenance. 5. That Condition No. 1, above mentioned, shall be complied with within a period of 180 days from date hereof, or such further time as the City Council may grant. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and de- termined to be necessary and proper.
