A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREIN RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of CLYDE HUNTER and HELEN
HUNTER, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for
an easement for road and public utility purposes, and more
particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 60.00 feet (as measured
at right angles to the center line of Brookhurst Street)
of that portion of the Northeast quarter of the South-
east quarter of Section 7, Township L{. South, Range 10
West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as said Section is
shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the point on the Southerly line of the
land described in deed to Marion Schlund Lindsey,
recorded April 4, 1956 in Book 3462, page 176 of
Official Records, distant South 89 01' 42" West 2)18.79
feet from the Southeast corner of said land, said
Southeast corner being on the Easterly line of said
Section 7, distant South 0 16' 10" East 1174.37 feet
from the intersection of lid Easterly line with the
center line of Crescent Avenue, as said intersection
is shown and referenced "fd R.R. Spike" on the Map
filed in Book 41, page 26 of Record of Surveys, in
the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
California; thence South 0 16 23" East 67.00 feet;
thence North 89 01' 42" East parallel with said Southerly
line, 248.79 feet to said Easterly line; thence South
0 16= 10" East 68.28 feet to the Northerly line of
Tract No. 1569, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 47,
page 17 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California; thence South 89 03' 54" West, along said
Northerly line, 330.11 feet to the West line of the
East half of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 7;

thence North O 16 23" West, along said West line
135.07 feet to the Southwest corner of said land of
Marion Schlund Lindsey; thence North 89 Olt 42"
East 81.33 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said properbj.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 27th day of March 1962.
