A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTIONS 62R -183, 62R -33
AND 62R -197 BY DELETING THEREFROM THE REQUIRE-
MENT FOR DEDICATION OF ADDITIONAL LAND AT THE
REAR OF THE PROPERTIES FOR ALLEY WIDENING
PURPOSES, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTIONS 62R -184
AND 62R -182.
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore duly passed and
adopted resolutions in Reclassification Proceedings Nos. 61- 62 -46,
61- 62 49, and 61 -62 -64 relating to the rezoning of certain parcels
of property along Harbor Boulevard more particularly described in
said resolutions; and
WHEREAS, upon further investigation and consideration,
the City Council finds that certain of said resolutions adopted
in said above mentioned reclassification proceedings should be
amended, as more particularly hereinafter set forth, and that
certain of said resolutions should be rescinded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that:
1. Resolution No. 62R -183 in Reclassification Proceedings
No. 61 -62 -46 be, and the same is hereby, amended as
follows:
(a) By eliminating therefrom Condition No. 14,
reading as follows:
"14. That the owners of the property shall
deed to the City of Anaheim a strip of
land 7 feet in width along the rear or
east side of subject property for alley
widening purposes."
(b) By adding thereto the following provisions:
(1) That a sufficient building setback from
the existing alley shall be established
to permit proper turning radius into the
parking spaces.
(2) That sufficient area shall be provided,
to the satisfaction of the Director of
Public Works and Superintendent of Streets,
for the storage of trash containers and
receptacles on private property and not
in the alley.
(3) That pipes or concrete posts shall be
installed on the side of the alley op-
posite the subject property, to the
satisfaction of the Director of Public
Works and Superintendent of Streets, to
protect the residential properties from
damages to fences by cars that might be
turning into, or backing out of, subject
property into the alley.
2. Resolution No. 62R -33 in Reclassification Proceedings
No. 61 -62 -49 be, and the same is hereby, amended as
follows:
(a) By eliminating therefrom Condition No. 11,

reading as follows:
"11. That the owner of subject property shall
deed to the City of Anaheim a strip of
land 7 feet in width along the rear or
west side of subject property for alley
widening purposes."
(b) By adding thereto the following provisions:
(1) That a sufficient building setback from the
existing alley shall be established to per-
mit proper turning radius into the parking
spaces.
(2) That sufficient area shall be provided, to
the satisfaction of the Director of Public
Works and Superintendent of Streets, for
the storage of trash containers and recep-
tacles on private property and not in the
alley.
(3) That pipes or concrete posts shall be in-
stalled on the side of the alley opposite
the subject property, to the satisfaction
of the Director of Public Works and Super-
intendent of Streets, to protect the resi-
dential properties from damages to fences
by cars that might be turning into, or
backing out of, subject property into the
alley.
3. Resolution No. 62R -197 in Reclassification Proceedings
No. 61 -62 -611 be, and the same is hereby, amended as
follows:
(a) By eliminating therefrom Condition No. 10,
reading as follows:
"10. That the owners of subject property shall
deed to the City of Anaheim a strip of land
seven feet in width at the rear of subject
property for alley widening purposes (It
is the intention of the City Council to
establish one -way traffic on this alley
until such time as necessary dedication is
acquired for alley widening.); but that
said dedication requirement shall be tem-
porarily waived until demanded by the City
of Anaheim."
(b) By eliminating therefrom that portion of Condition
No. 12 (b) reading as follows:
"PROVIDED, however, that the improvement or
amount necessary to improve that portion to
be widened shall be waived until demanded
by the City of Anaheim."
(c) By eliminating from said resolution the next to
the last paragraph thereof reading as follows:
"AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk
be, and she is hereby, directed to cause a certi
fied copy of this resolution to be recorded in
the Office of the County Recorder of Orange
County, California.
(d) By adding thereto the following provisions:
That a sufficient building setback from the
existing alley shall be established to permit
proper turning radius into the parking spaces.
That sufficient area shall be provided, to
the satisfaction of the Director of Public
Works and Superintendent of Streets, for the
storage of trash containers and receptacles
on private property and not in the alley.
That pipes or concrete posts shall be installed
on the side of the alley opposite the subject
property, to the satisfaction of the Director
of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets,
to protect the residential properties from
damages to fences by cars that might be turning
into, or backing out of, subject property into
the alley.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that,except as amended herein,
said Resolutions Nos. 62R -183, 62R =33 and 62R -197 be and remain
in full force and effect.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 62R -184
in Reclassification Proceedings No. 61-62-46 and Resolution No.
62R -182 in Reclassification Proceedings No. 61- 62G49 be, and the
same are hereby, rescinded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 27th day of March, 1962.
