A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of FACTORY DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION, a California Corporation, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be
used for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and
more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across those parcels of land described as
follows:
PARCEL ONE: The Northerly 45.00 feet (as measured at
right angles to the center line of Anaheim Road) and
the Westerly 53.00 feet (as measured at right angles
from the center line of Dowling Avenue) of the West
ten (10) acres of the North twenty (20) acres of Lot
15 in Block K of the Kraemer Tract, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 12, pages 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California.
PARCEL TWO: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot
15 in Block K of the above mentioned Kraemer Tract
(for the purpose of this description said Northwest
corner being the center line intersection of Anaheim
Road with the center line of Dowling Avenue); thence
Easterly along the North line of said Lot 15 a distance
of 77.98 feet; thence Southerly along a line perpendicular
to the Northerly line of said Lot 15, to the inter-
section with a line parallel with and 45.00 feet Southerly
of the North line of said Lot 15, said point of inter-
section being the beginning of a curve concave South-
easterly and having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Westerly
and Southerly along said curve through a central angle
of 89 5 55" an arc distance of 39.26 feet to the
intersection with a line parallel with and 53.00 feet
Easterly of the West line of said Lot 15; thence
Westerly along a line parallel with the North line of
said Lot 15, to the West line of said Lot 15; thence
Northerly along the West line of said Lot 15 to the
point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion thereof lying within
Parcel One above described.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
$E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out Of General ids of the City of
/Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1,001
