A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of EMANUEL CANDELL and FRIDA
CANDELL, husband and wife, and DORIS RUTH BROWN, to sell to the
City of Anaheim the following described real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes,
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across a strip of land 23.00 feet in width, being a
portion of Lot 28 of Anaheim Extension, as shown on Tract
Map made by Wm. Hamel on file in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, also shown on
a Record of Survey Map filed in Book 10, page 38 of Record
of Surveys, In the office of the County Recorder of Orange
County, California, the Easterly line of said strip being
described as follows:
Beginning at a point of intersection of a line parallel to
and distant Southerly 409.00 feet, more or less, measured
at right angles from the Northerly line of said Lot 28,
with the Westerly line of Harbor Boulevard as described in
deed to Orange County, recorded March 19, 1930 in Book 362,
page 406 of Official Records, said Westerly line being a
curve concave Northwesterly having a radius of 970 feet;
thence Southerly and Southwesterly along said curve through
a central angle of 18 421 13" an arc distance of 316.64 feet
to the intersection with a line bearing North 74 181 15"
East, said line being the Southerly line of the land con-
veyed to Henry J. Kestenholz by deed recorded March 24, 19)44
in Book 1243, page 199 of Official Records.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion of land conveyed to Myron
Laney and Dulcie Laney, husband and wife, by deed recorded
August 25, 1960 in Book 5388, page 547 of Official Records.
The westerly line of said 23.00 foot strip being lengthened
or shortened to coincide with the North and South lines of
the above parcel of land.

property.

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by We
