RES-2025-048RESOLUTION NO. 2025-048 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2025/26 BUDGET WHEREAS, on June 17, 2025, the City Council of the City of Anaheim (the "City") conducted a public hearing (the "Budget Public Hearing") regarding the City's proposed FY 2025/26 Operating Budget & Capital Improvement Program (the "City's FY 2025/26 Budget"); and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the City's FY 2025/26 Budget, determined the time for the holding of a public hearing thereon, and caused a notice of said hearing to be published not less than ten (10) days prior thereto in the official newspaper of the City, and copies of the proposed budget were made available for inspection by the public in the Office of the City Clerk at least ten (10) days prior to said hearing; and WHEREAS, all requirements of the City Charter relating to the preparation and consideration of the annual budget have been satisfied. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: Section 1. The City Manager delegates authority to transfer funds from one object or purpose to another within the same department, office or agency to the Finance Director or designee. Section 4. Resources in funds, other than the General Fund, are intended to be used by the City for the specific purpose of that fund. Any fund balance that does not meet the criteria to be classified as restricted, as defined in Governmental Accounting Standards Board Statement No. 54, will be assigned by the City Manager or designee.
