A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO. 199.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit
from PAUL PLETZ, 3302 West Ball Road, Anaheim, California,
to construct a multiple- family planned unit development on
the following described property:
Beginning at the center line of South Street
at Southwest corner of said Lot 12; thence
on said center line of South Street North
74 -1/2 East 9.175 chains; thence North
15 -1/2 West 5.45 chains; thence South 74 -1/2
West 9.175 chains; thence South 15 -1/2 East
5.45 chains to point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM all that portion of said
land lying Westerly of a line that is parallel
with and distant Easterly 168.00 feet measured
at right angles from the center line of South
East Street.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold
a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon
said request on February 5, 1962, notices of which said public
hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions
of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of Shi0Knaheit Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, in-
vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered
at said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. 226, Series
1961 -62, denying Conditional Use Permit No. 199; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty -two days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council
did elect, upon its own motion, to review the action of the
City Planning Commission in denying said Conditional Use
Permit and did thereupon fix the 13th day of March, 1962, as
the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City
of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said Condi-
tional Use Permit, and notices of such public hearing were
duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18,
Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said
hearing, that Conditional Use Permit No. 199 should be denied;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning

Commission denying Conditional Use Permit No. 199 be, and
the same is hereby sustained, and that the request of
PAUL PLETZ, 3302 West Ball Road, Anaheim, California, for
a Conditional Use Permit to construct a multiple family
planned unit development on the property hereinabove des-
cribed be, and the same is hereby, denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 13th day of March, 1962.

was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 13th day of March, 1962, by the following
vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Chandler, Fry, Thompson and Schutte.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Coons.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 13th day
of March, 1962.
