1962-0166RESOLUTION NO. 62R 166 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public utility purposes; and WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of LYNN E. THOMSEN and JOAN R. THOMSEN, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for public utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows: An easement for public utility purposes over, under and across the Easterly five (5) feet of that portion of Lots One and Two of the Anaheim Homestead Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 26, page 10 of Miscel- laneous Records, in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot Two; thence South 15 18 23" East 75.00 feet along the Westerly line of West Street as shown on said Map, to the true point of beginning of the land herein conveyed; thence continuing South 15 18 23" East 524.94 feet along the Westerly line of said West Street to the Southeast corner of said Lot One; thence Westerly along the South line of said Lot One to the East line of Carleton Avenue as shown on a Map of Tract No. 1456, recorded in Book 48, page 20 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence Northerly along said East line of Carleton Avenue to a point South 74 41 37" West 280.69 feet from the true point of beginning; thence North 74 4 37" East 280.69 feet to the true point of beginning. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 125.00 feet measured along the South line of said Lot One. ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Southerly 262.50 feet measured along the Easterly line thereof.
