RESOLUTION NO. 3313
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY TO THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS
OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, AND AUTHOR-
IZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONVEYANCE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of the hereinafter de-
scribed real property; and
WHEREAS, said real property is not presently needed for any
immediate public use nor municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States of
America, a oorporation, has offered to purchase said real property for the
sum of $4,000.00 cash, lawful money of the United States, to be paid to the
Ci ty of Anaheim upon deli very a: a good and sufficient deed, conveying said
property to said Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States of America; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is for the benefit and best
interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and sell and oonvey said
real property to said Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States of America,
upon the terms and conditions hereinafter specified.
NOW, THER.EF'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the offer of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States
of America, a corporation, to purchase the hereinafter described real property
for the sum of $4,000.00 cash, lawful money of the United States, be accepted
upon the following terms and conditions:
1. That the sum of $4,000.00 cash, lawful money of the United
States, be paid to the City of Anaheim upon the delivery to the Veterans of
Foreign Wars of the United States of America of a good and sufficient deed,
conveying said real property to said Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United
States of America.
2. That said property shall be sold subject to covenants, con-
ditions, restrictions, reservations, rights, rights-of-way and easements
of record..
BE IT FURTEER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and
they are hereby, authorized to execute a good and sufficient deed conveying
to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States of America the follow-
ing described real property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of CalifOrnia, and more particularly described as follows:
'rhat portion of Lot 39 of Anaheim Extension, in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
sholl1l on a map thereof made by 1-Jilliam Hamel and filed
for record in the office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, California, described as follows:

Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of said Lot 39;
thence Southerly along the Westerly line thereof 235
feet mare or less; thence Easterly as measured at right
angles from said Westerly line 257.02 feet; thence
Northerly along a line parallel with said Westerly line
of Lot 39 to a point in the no~herly line of said Lot
39, said point being distant 257 feet more or le ss from
the Northwest corner of said Lot 39; thence Westerly
257 feet more or less to the point of beginning.
ElCCEPI'ING therefrom the Northerly 50 feet.
ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom the Westerly 33 feet.

and to deliver said deed to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States
of America upon payment of the full purchase price as hereinabove provided.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby,
authorized and directed to certify a copy of this Resolution and cause the
same to be attached to the deed to be executed by the Mayor and the City Clerk
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
