1962-0648RESOLUTION NO. 62R 648 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purpos to wit: An easement for road and Zublic utility purposess and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell and convey the same t©he City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of Anaheim Union Water Company, a corporation es c r .e. a ose o e yo £naem e o owng property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to,be used for an easement for road and pub 1 i c utility rnirpos e an more par cular described follows: re An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across the Westerly 53.00 feet measured at right angles to the center line of State College Boulevard of that parcel of land described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Section 1, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. thence East along the North line of said Section 1, 28.78 chains to the West line of the Kraemer Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 12, pages 87 and 88 of Miscel- laneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence South 14* West along the West line of the Kraemer Tract, 15.36 chains; thence West, 24.95 chains to the West line of said Section 1; thence North, 14.9 chains to the point of beginning, being the North 40 acres of Fractional Section 1. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Northerly 207 feet as measured at right angles to the center line of Orangethorpe Avenue.
