A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT TITLE
18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE BOUND-
ARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone
or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having
fixed a time and place for the holding of a public hearing
thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having duly held and conducted
such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone
or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its.findings of facts and declare its
opinions and reasons for recommending denial of said proposed
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Council did fix the 19th day of
June 1962, as the time, and the City =El1 Chambers
in TI7 City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, hereinafter
described, from the zone in which it is now situated and the
incorporation thereof in the zones hereinafter set forth; and did
give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided in said
Title 18 of said Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public
hearing before the Planning Commission, its report of findings
and recommendations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated,
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby amended, and that all of the property
and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows

Commencing at the Southeast corner of the land con-
veyed to Glenn G. Fry and others by deed recorded
March 29, 1955, in book 3012, page 442, Official
Records, in the office of the County Recorder of
said Orange County, said corner being in the Easter-
ly line of said lot distant thereon 229.95 feet
Southerly from the Northeasterly corner of said lot,
and running thence Westerly along the Southerly line
of said land of Fry, 125 feet more or less, to an
intersection with the Northerly prolongation of the
Westerly line of the land conveyed to L. D. Steere and
wife, by deed recorded April 4, 1955, in book 3018,
page 54 7, Official Records, in the office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County, said point
being the true point of beginning ofthe boundry of
the land described herein; thence continuing
Westerly along the Southerly line of said land of Fry,
74.28 feet more or less, to the Easterly line of the
land conveyed to Joseph D. Huarte and wife, by deed
recorded April 13, 1954, in book 2708, page 555,
Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder
of said Orange County; thence Southerly along said
Easterly line, and the Southerly extension thereof,
280.12 feet more or less, to the center line of
Sycamore Street, 60.00 feet in width; thence Easterly
along said center line 72.84 feet more or less to the
intersection with the Southerly prolongation of the
Westerly line of said land of L.D. Steere referred to
above; thence Northerly along said Westerly line,
and its Southerly and Northerly prolongations, 280.11
feet more or less, to the true point of beginning,
be excluded from R -A, RESIDENTIAL- AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and in-
corporated in R -3, MULTIPLE- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the
following conditions:
1. That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with revised plans sub-
mitted to the City Council on June 19, 1962,
signed by Mr. Robertson, and on file with the
City of Anaheim.
2. That this reclassification is granted subject
to the removal of existing structures located
on the subject property.
3. (a) That sidewalks and driveways shall be in-
stalled on Sycamore Street as required by the
City Engineer, and in accordance with standard
plans and specifications on file in the office
of the City Engineer; and (b) that a bond in
an amount and form satisfactory to the City of
Anaheim, shall be posted with the City to
guarantee the installation of said sidewalks
That portion of Lot 4 of Tract No. 153, in the
City of Anaheim, as shown on a map thereof recorded
in book 11, page 46, Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, described as follows:
and driveways.
That the owners of subject property shall
pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of
$2.00 per front foot, along Sycamore Street,
for street lighting purposes.
5. That the owners of subject property shall
pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00
per dwelling unit, to be used for park and
recreation purposes, said amount to be paid
at the time the building permit is issued.
6. That adequate areas for trash storage,
accessible to trash truck pickup shall be
provided as determined and required by the
Street Maintenance and Sanitation Division
of the Public Works Department, which areas
shall be enclosed with a solid fence or wall
prior to final building inspection.
7. That the owners of subject property shall
deed to the City of Anaheim a strip of land
32 feet in width, from the center line of
the street, along Sycamore Street for street
widening purposes.
8. That a masonry wall six feet in height shall
be constructed along the west property line
prior to final building inspection.
9. That conditions Nos. 3(b), L and 7 above
mentioned shall be complied with within a
period of 180 days from date hereof, or such
further time as the City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare andsubmit
to the City Council and ordinance amending Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found
and determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
