A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR
PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit. An easement for road and public utility purposes
and
and more particularly described as follows.

WHEREAS, the owners of said property hays_ offered to sell
and convey the same to the Ci y; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of CARL KARCHER and MARGARET KARCHER,
husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Oraage, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and ublic utility ourpose_s
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across that portion of Lot Five (5) of Miles Rancho, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot Five (5) of said Miles
Rancho, said Southwest corner for the purpose of this description
being the center line intersection of Harbor Boulevard with the
center line of Romneya Drive; thence Northerly along the center
line of said Harbor Boulevard, a distance of 239.66 feet; thence
North 89 54' 00" East a distance of 45.00 feet to an inter-
section with a line parallel with and distant 45.00 feet Easterly
of the center line of said Harbor Boulevard; thence Southerly along
the last mentioned parallel line a distance of 192.56 feet to
the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having
a radius of 15.00 feet; thence Southerly and Easterly along
said curve through a central angle of 90 06' 00" an arc distance
of 23.59 feet to an intersection with a line tangent to the end
of said curve and distant 32.00 feet Northerly (as measured at
right angles) from the center line of said Romneya Drive; thence
Southerly 32.00 feet to the center line of said Romneya Drive;
thence Westerly along the center line of said Romneya Drive
60.08 feet to the point of beginning.
For the purpose of this description the West line of said Lot 5
is assumed to be the center line of Harbor Boulevard and the
South line of said Lot 5 is assumed to be the center line of
said Romneya Drive.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City.
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of
said real property,, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar ($1
