A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of J. D. NORTON and STELLA
NORTON, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for
an easement for road and public utility purposes, and more
particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across those parcels of land described as
follows:
PARCEL ONE:
The Northerly 53.00 feet (as measured at right angles
from the center line of Ball Road, of the Easterly 190
feet of Lot 6 of the Kellogg Homestead Tract as shown
on a map recorded in Book 8, page 51 of miscellaneous
maps records of Orange County California. (For the
purpose of this description, the North line of said
Lot is assumed to be the center line of Ball Road.)
PARCEL TWO:
Beginning at the center line intersection of Fairview
Road (now known as Ball Road) with the center line of
Kellogg Road (now known as Nutwood Street) as shown on
the map of aforementioned Kellogg Homestead Tract, thence
Westerly along the center line of said Ball Road a
distance of 46.07 feet, thence Southerly along a line
parallel with the center line of said Nutwood Street
to an intersection with a line parallel with and 53.00
feet Southerly of the center line of said Ball Road (as
measured at right angles, said point of intersection
being in a line tangent to the beginning of a curve
concave Southwesterly and having a radius of 15 feet,
thence Easterly and Southerly along said curve through
acentral angle of 89 12' 20' an arc distance of 23.35
feet to the end of said curve, being in a line tangent
to the end of said curve distant Westerly 32.00 feet from
the center line of said Nutwood Street thence Easterly
32.00 feet to the center line of said Nutwood Street,
thence Northerly along the center line of said Nutwood
Street 67.36 feet to the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a
conveyance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to
the owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 16th day of October, 1962.

ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 16th day of
October, 1962.
