A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM: ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit; An easement for road_and public utility purposes

WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha ve offered to Sei
and Convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and l urchase said real property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of FEROL F. SMITH. a married woman:
to sell to t e City o 'na elm the of owing descried real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
an more particu ariy describe as .ollows;
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across the South 12.00 feet of the North 32.00 feet of the East 85.00
feet of the West 226.00 feet of the following described land:
The East 18.35 acres of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest
quarter of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. &M.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the South 15 acres.
(The North line of said South 15 acres being parallel to the North
line of the Southwest quarter of Section 18; the East and West line
of above described parcel being parallel to the West line of said
18..35 acres.)
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th of October 19 62
