A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO, 1504
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from JESSE
F. PRUETT and CALLIE A. PRUETT, owners
o
cer a n rea proper y s uated n t e ity o Anaheim, bounty
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot 99 in Tract No. 1565, in the City of Anaheim,
as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 49,
pages 22 through 24 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said Orange County.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
July 23 19 62 notice of which said public hearing was
duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18,
Chapter 18,76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission after due
inspection, investigation_ and studies made by itself and in its
behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No, 412 Series
19 62 63, granting Variance No.1504,subject to certain conditions and
WHEREAS, thereafter within twenty- two_(22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council did
elect, upon its own motion, to review the action taken by the City
Planning Commission in granting said variance and did set a
public .hearing thereon to be held on the 4th day of Septe_mber
1962 at 7:00 o!clock P.M. in the City Hall in the City of
Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given as
required by law and the provisions of Title 18,_Chapter 18.76 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that:
1. There is no. substantial property right, possessed
by other property in the same vicinity and zone
and denied the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be
adequately developed and used under the present
zone.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission

granting said variance be, and the same is hereby disapproved,
and that the petition for Zoning Variance No. 1504 permitting
the establishment of a real estate office in an existing resi-
dence on the above described property, be, and the same is
hereby denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of October 19 62
