A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO. 294.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit
from WILSON S. NAKAMURA, 2760 West Orange Avenue, Anaheim,
California, to construct a planned unit development with a 10-
foot rear yard building setback on the following described
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to wit:
The North one -half of the Northwest quarter of the
Southeast quarter of Section 13, in Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on
a map thereof recorded in Book 51, page 11, Miscella-
neous Maps, records of said Orange County;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 265 feet thereof, as
conveyed to Edison Securities Company, by deed recor-
ded April 14, 1959, in Book 4667, page 563, Official
Records.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Northerly 173 feet of
the Westerly 97 feet of the Easterly 432 feet of said
land, as conveyed to the City of Anaheim, by deed re-
corded April 14, 1959, in Book 4668, page 276,
Official Records.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said
request on August 20, 1962, notices of which said public hearing
were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title
18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection,
investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at
said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. 478, Series 1962 -63
denying Conditional Use Permit No. 294; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty -two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council
did elect, upon its own motion, to review the action of the
City Planning Commission in denying said Conditional Use Permit
and did thereupon fix the 25th day of September, 1962, as the
time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of
Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said Conditional
Use Permit, and notices of such public hearing were duly given
as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76
of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to
be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning Commis-
sion and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, that
Conditional Use Permit No. 294 should be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning
Commission denying Conditional Use Permit No. 294 be, and the
same is hereby sustained and that the request of WILSON S.
NAKAMURA, 2760 West Orange Avenue, Anaheim, California, for a
Conditional Use Permit to construct a planned unit development
with a 10 -foot rear yard building setback on the property here
inabove described, be, and the same is hereby, denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 25th day of September, 1962.

September, 1962.
