1962-0841WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of CECIL MILES LANCASTER and
LUCILE B. LANCASTER, husband and wife, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be
used for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and
more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: The Southerly 45.00 feet (as measured at right
angles to the center line of Orange Avenue) of the South 5
acres of the East 10 acres of the South half of the Southeast
quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 14, Township 4
South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on
a Map thereof recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County, California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 40.00 feet thereof lying
within that certain State Highway commonly known as Beach
Boulevard.
PARCEL TWO: Beginning at a point in a line parallel with and
40.00 feet Westerly (as measured at right angles) from the
East line and 69.73 feet Northerly of the South line of the
Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 14,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, S. B. B. M., said point of
beginning being the beginning of a tangent curve concave North-
westerly and having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Southerly
and Westerly along said curve through a central angle of 89
45' 53" an arc distance of 39.17 feet to an intersection with
a line parallel with and 45.00 feet Northerly (as measured at
right angles from the South line of the Southeast quarter of
the Northeast quarter of said Section 14); thence Easterly
along the last mentioned parallel line a distance of 24.90 feet
to an intersection with a line parallel with and 40.00 feet
Westerly (as measured at right angles) from the East line of
the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section
14; thence Northerly along the last mentioned parallel line to
the point of beginning.

City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.

TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)
