A RESiLUTION OF THE CI`T'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM INSTRUCTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS T O POST CERTAIN PROPERTY, NOTIFYING
THE OWNERS THEREOF TO CONSTRUCT CURBS AND
SIDEWALKS UPON AND ALONG CERTAIN STREETS WHERE
SIDEWALKS O. CURBS, OR BOTH, FOR A TOTAL FRONT
AGE OF MORE THAN FIFTY PER CENT ON ONE SIDE OF
THE STREET, HAVE ALREADY ERE N CONSTRUCTED.
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that sidewalks
or curbs, or both, for a total frontage of more than fifty
per cent on one side of the street, in the blocks where the
hereinafter described properties are located, have already
been constructed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that the
owners of the hereinafter described real properties situated
in the City of Anaheim should be notified to construct, or
cause to be constructed, curbs or sidewalks, or both, in front
of the properties owned by them, and that they should be so
notified by the Superintendent of Streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the owners of the hereinafter de-
scribed real properties and premises be ordered and directed
to construct curbs or sidewalks, or both, as the case may be,
in front of the properties owned by them.
AND HE IT FU THER RESOLVED that the Superintendent
of Streets be, and he is hereby, instructed to notify the
owners of said hereinafter described properties to construct
curbs or sidewalks or both in front of the properties owned
by them, and that such notice be given in the form and manna
as provided by Sections 5876, 5877, 5878, 5878.1 and 5879 of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the nth day of
January 1956, at the hour of 7 :00 o'clock P.M., in
the Council Chamber in the City Hall is hereby fixed as the
day, hour and place when the City Council will hear and pass
upon objections or protests, if any, which may be raised by
any property owner or other interested persons to the con-
struction and insta!lation of said curbs and sidewalks.
The owners of the properties whom the Superintendent
of Streets is hereby instructed to notify as herein provided,
and the description of the properties owned by them and to be
posted with notice, as required by Section 5878 of the Streets
and Highways Code, are as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Vineyard
Lot A -1 as shown on a map recorded in Book 4 oases
629 -630 of Deeds, Records of Los An ;eles County,
California, running thence westerly alone the north
easterly line of said lot, 164 feet; thence southerly
parallel with the easterly line of said lot, 80 feet;
thence easterly Darai with the northerly line of
said lot, 16L1 feet; hence northerly to the point of
beginning.

Owners Jeffrey C. Palin and Hazel B. Palin,
husband and wife, as joint tenants.
Beginning at a point in the easterly line of
Vineyard Lot A -1, as per map recorded in Book 4,
pages 629 -630 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County,
California distant 225 feet southerly from the north-
east corner of said lot; runnincr thence westerly
parallel with the northerly line of said lot, 37
feet; thence southerly, parallel with said easterly
line, 78 feet; thence easterly, parallel with said
northerly line 374 feet to said easterly line; thence
northerly 78 feet to the point of beginning.
Owners Marlin L.dwardson and Jean M. Edwardson,
husband and wife, as joint tenants.
The southerly 95 feet of that portion or the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, being a portion of Lot 1 of
Anaheim Extension as shown on a map of survey made by
William Hamel and acknowledged by Alfred Robinson,
Trustee, on file in the Office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, California, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the north line of said Lot
1, being on the south line of La Palma Avenue distant
817.8_ feet west of the northeast corner of said lot,
said point being the northwest corner of the land con-
veyed to J. E. Walter, et al, by deed recorded May 13,
1947 in Book 15 page 377 of Official Records, in the
office of the County Recorder of Orange County; thence
southerly along the westerly line of said land 209.1.1
feet to the southwest corner of said land; thence south
73° 54! 25" west along the westerly extension of the
southerly line of said land 270.81 feet, more or less,
to the westerly line of said lot; thence northerly along
said westerly line 288 feet to the northwest corner of
said lot; thence east along the northerly line of said
lot, 281.07 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING Tx gR rHOM the southerly 95 feet; ALSO
EXCEPTING THJ ;I ROM the easterly 65 feet, said 85 feet being
measured along the south line of La Palma Avenue.
Owners Lawrence George Gloistein, a married man,
and Evelyn Brunworth, a single woman, as joint tenants.
The southerly 59.5 feet of the westerly 156.25 feet
of the southerly 1/2 of Vineyard Lot B -7, as shown on a
map recorded in Book 4, pages 629 -630 of Deeds, Records
of Los Angeles County, California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the southerly 9.5 feet and the
westerly 5 feet.
Owners Gerald G. Grover and Helen G. Grover, husband
and wife, as joint tenants.
