A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO THE COM-
MENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEX-
ATION OF INHABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM.

Yvonne H. Boeker, Roy Roberts, Anna Roberts, Kenneth L. Hemphill, Evelyn
C. Hemphill, Allen W. La Mont, Mary Evelyn La Mont, Clifferd H. Schmidt,
Olga S. Schmidt, Deborah R. Penoyar, Rudell S. ,Boyd and IIar W. Tapping
have filed with the City Council a written request, requesting
the consent of the City Council of the City of Anaheim to the
commencement of proceedings for the annexation of the herein-
after described territory to the City of Anaheim, and stating
that said territory is inhabited territory and is contiguous to
the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
it would be to the advantage and benefit of the City of Anaheim
and to the qualified electors residing within said territory to
permit the above named proponents to commence proceedings for
the annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim, upon
the conditions hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, said request has been referred to the City
Planning Commission and its report and recommendations received
recommending the granting of consent to commence proceedings for
annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the consent of the City Council be, and
it is hereby given to said proponents to commence proceedings
for the annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the
City of Anaheim, upon the following conditions:
First: That the proposal for annexation of said terri-
tory to the City of Anaheim shall be submitted to and reported
upon to the proponents by the Boundary Commission of the County
of Orange, with respect to the definiteness and certainty of
proposed boundaries.
Second: That no petition be circulated for the annexa-
tion of said territory until after notice of intention to circu-
late such petition has been published as required by law, and a
copy of such notice and an affidavit of publication has been
filed with the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim within ten (10)
days after the date of publication of said notice, and a resolu-
tion has been adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim
acknowledging receipt of said notice and approving the circula-
tion of said petition.
Third: That the circulation of any petition for the
annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim shall not
be commenced until twenty -one (21) days after the publication
of said notice of intention to circulate the same.
The boundaries of the territory for which proceedings
are proposed to be commenced for the annexation thereof to the
City of Anaheim are described as follows:

MIDWOOD MANOR ANNEXATION
A parcel of land being a portion of Sections 19, 20, and 21, Township
4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian and more parti-
cularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the westerly line of EZ of SE4 of Section
20, T4S, RIOW, SBBM said point being located 40.00 feet northerly,
as measured at right angles from the southerly line of said Section 20,
said southerly line also being the centerline of Katella Avenue; thence,
1. Westerly 3960 feet, more or less, along a line parallel to
and 40.00 feet northerly of said southerly line of Section 20 to a
point in the easterly line of Section 19, T4S, R1OW, SBBM; said easterly
line also being the centerline of Brookhurst; thence,
2. Continuing westerly 30 feet, more or less, along a line parallel
to and 40,00 feet northerly of southerly line of said Section 19 to
a point 30.00 feet westerly, as measured at right angles, from said
easterly line of said Section 19; thence,
3. Northerly 3020 feet, more or less, along a line parallel to
and 30.00 feet westerly of said easterly line of Section 19 to the
westerly prolongation of the northerly line of Tract No. 2015 as re-
corded in Book 58 on Pages 16 and 17 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
Orange County; thence,
4. Easterly 1360 feet, more or less, along said northerly line
of Tract No. 2015 and its westerly prolongation to the most north
easterly corner of said Tract No. 2015; thence,
5. Southerly 420 feet, more or less, along easterly line of said
Tract No. 2015 to the northwesterly corner of NE4 of SW4 of Section 20,
T4S, R1OW, SBBM; thence,
6. Easterly 1320 feet, more or less, along northerly line of said
NE4 of SW4 to the most northeasterly corner of said NE4 of SW4, said
point being located in the centerline of Nutwood Street; thence,
7. Continuing easterly 20 feet, more or less, along the southerly
line of SW4 of NE4 of said Section 20 to a point 20.00 feet, as measured
at right angles, easterly of westerly line of said SW4 of NE4; thence,
8. Northerly 1320 feet, more or less, along a line parallel to
and 20.00 feet easterly of said westerly line of SW4 of NE4 to a point
in the northerly line of said SW4 of NE4; thence,
9. Easterly 10 feet, more or less, along said northerly line of
said SW4 of NE4 of Section 20 to a point 30.00 feet easterly, as measured
at right angles, of the westerly line of NW4 of NE4 of said Section 20;
thence,
10. Northerly 1290 feet, more or less, along a line parallel to and
30.00 feet easterly of said westerly line of NW4 of NE4 to a point
30.00 feet southerly, as measured at right angles, from the northerly
line of said Section 20, said northerly line also being the centerline
of Ball Road and said point being located in the southerly line of
the Orange Avenue Annexation to the City of Anaheim, Annexation No. 44,
as passed by Ordinance No. 914 on August 10, 1954 and filed with the
Secretary of State on October 18, 1954; thence,
11. Easterly 2610 feet, more or less, along a line parallel to and
30.00 feet southerly of said northerly line of said Section 20 and on
the existing Anaheim City Limits line as established by said Orange
Avenue Annexation to a point in the easterly line of said Section 20
said easterly line also being the centerline of Euclid Avenue; thence,
12. Continuing easterly 30 feet, more or less, along said existing
Anaheim City Limits line and on a line parallel to and 30.00 feet southerly
of northerly line of Section 21, T4S, R1OW, SBBM to a point 30.00 feet

easterly as measured at right angles, from the westerly line of said
Section 21; thence,
13e Southerly 2610 feet, more or less, along a line parallel to
and 30000 feet easterly of said westerly line of Section 21 to a point
in the southerly line of NW4 of said Section 21, said point also being
on the centerline of Cerritos Avenue; thence,
14. Continuing southerly 20 feet, more or less, along a line
parallel to and 30°00 feet easterly of the westerly line of SO of
said Section 21 to a point 20.00 feet southerly, as measured at right
angles from the northerly line of said SW4 of Section 21; thence,
15. Westerly 30 feet, more or less, along a line parallel to and
20.00 feet southerly of said northerly line of SW4 of Section 21 to
the easterly line of SE4 of Section 20, T4S, R1OW, SBBM; thence,
16. Continuing westerly 1320 feet, more or less, along a line
parallel to and 20.00 feet southerly of northerly line of E2 of SE/
of Section 20 to a point in the westerly line of said E2 of SE4; thence,
17. Southerly 2580 feet, more or less, along said westerly line
of E4 of SE to the point of beginning.
