A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF
COPY OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE
A PETITION RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF
TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION THEREOF, AND AP-
PROVING THE CIRCT'LATION OF SAID PETITION.
THEREAS, the following named proponents, to wit:
have published a notice of intention to circulate a petition re-
lating to and for the annexation of the territory described in
said notice to the City of Anaheim, which said notice was duly
published on the :bra day of October 19 55 pur-
suant to and in accordance with the Elections Code of the State
of California in the Anaheim Bulletin a news-
paper of general circulation printed, published and circulated in
the County of Orange, State of California, where such territory is
situated, and that an affidavit of publication duly executed by
Richard Fischle the Principal Clerk
of said newspaper, has been filed in the office of the City Clerk
of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said notice contains the names of the proponents
intending to circulate the petition and the specific boundaries of
the territory proposed to be annexed to the City of Anaheim, and is
accompanied by a printed statement not exceeding 500 words in
length, containing reasons for the circulation of said petition
for annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that it
would be to the advantage and for the beet interests of the resi-
dents and citizens of the City of Anaheim and the property owners
and qualified electors in said territory for the City Council to
approve the circulation of said petition.
NOW, T: EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the receipt of said notice of intention
to circulate said petition for the annexation of the property
therein described to the City of Anaheim be, and the same is here-
by, acknowledged and that the circulation of said petition by said
proponents for the annexation of said territory to the City of
Anaheim be, and the same is hereby approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
this 3rd day of October 19 55

A parcel of land being a portion of Section 7 and 18, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian and Sections 11, 12, 13 and
14, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian and
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of a line parallel to and 15.00 feet northerly
as measured at right angles, of the southerly line of NE- of Section 12, T4S,
R11W, SBBM, (said southerly line also being the centerline of Crescent Avenue)
and the westerly line of E2 of SE4 of NE- of said Section 12, said point also
being an angle point in the existing Anaheim City Limits line as established
by the Magnolia Crescent Annexation to the City of Anaheim, Annexation No. 52
as passed by Ordinance No. 956 on December 28, 1954 and filed with the Secretary
of State on January 31, 1955; thence,
1. Northerly 980 feet, more or .less, along said westerly line
SEA of NEB of Section 12 and also along said existing City Limits :1 n toy the
northerly line of Si of NE- of SEA of NE- of said Section 12; thence,
20 Easterly 630 feet, more or less, along said northerly line and also
along said existing City Limits line to a point in a line parallel ro and :30.00
feet westerly as measured at right angles, of the east line of said Section 12,
(said east line also being the centerline of Magnolia Avenue); thence,
3. Southerly 980 feet, more or less, along said parallel line and also
along said existing Anaheim City Limits line to a point in said line parallel
to and 15000 feet northerly as measured at right angles of southerly line of
NE4 of Section 12; thence,
4. Easterly 30 feet, more or less, along said parallel line and also along
said existing Anaheim City Limits line to a point in said easterly line of

and 15.00 feet northerly as measured at right angles, of northerly line of

longation of the easterly line of the WZ of SW4 of said Section 7; thence,

northerly and southerly prolongations and also along said existing Anaheim
City Limits line to a line parallel to and 30.00 feet southerly as measured
at right angles of northerly line of Section 18, T4S, R10W, SBBM (said

easterly as measured at right angles of westerly line of said NE4 of

as measured at right angles, from said southerly line of NEk of Section 12;

line of Buena Park and also along said parallel line to the westerly line of
Southern California Edison Company right —of —way; thence,
29. Continuing easterly 265 feet, more or less, along said line parallel
to and 15.00 feet northerly, as measured at right angles from southerly line of
NE* of Section 12 to the east line of said Southern California Edison Company
right—of—way, said point also being an angle point in said existing Anaheim
City Limits line; thence,
30. Continuing easterly 660 feet, more or less, along said parallel line
and also along said existing Anaheim City Limits line to the point of beginning.

certify that the foregoing resolution was adopted upon a final reading at an
adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim, held on
the 3rd day of October, 1955, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim approved
and signed said resolution on the 3rd day of October, 1955.
