1955-2941RESOLUTION NO. 2941 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of LAWRENCE A. MUCKENTEALER and NELLIE MIJCKENThALER, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real prop- erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for road and public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: An easement to the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, for road and public utilities purposes over, under, across and through that strip of land hereinafter described, being a portion of the land conveyed to Lawrence A. and Nellie Mucken- thaler by deed recorded in Book 1179, Page 382 of Official Records, records of said County being also a portion of the West half of the Northwest quarter of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana as said West half of the Northwest quarter of Section 9 is indicated on a map filed in Book 28, Page 32, Records of Survey in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter, said Southeast corner being the inter- section of the centerlines of Loara Street and Crescent Avenue as shown on said Records of Survey 28 -32; thence Westerly along said centerline of Crescent Avenue 656.89 feet to the Westerly line of said land of Muckenthaler; thence Northerly along said Westerly line to a point in a line that is 31.00 feet Northerly and parallel with said centerline of Crescent Avenue; thence Easterly along said parallel line to the East line of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 9 and the centerline of Loara Street; thence Southerly along said last mentioned past line and center- line to the point of beginning. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars $1.00). -1- me this ATTEST: THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by 27th day of September 195 5 CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
