A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM iLNDING AND DETERMINING
THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE
GRANTED IN A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolu-
tion declaring its intention to change the boundaries of
the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described and
did fix a time and place for the holding of a public hear-
ing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly hold
and conduct a public hearing to consider such proposed
change of zone or zones and did receive evidence and re-
ports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days fol-
lowing the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly
announce by formal resolution its findings of facts and de-
clare its opinions and reasons for recommending an amendment
to said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
to effect the proposed change in the boundaries of the zone
hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommenda-
tion of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did
thereupon fix the 26th day of July, 1955 as the time and the
Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as
the place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of
zone and did give notice thereof in the manner and as pro-
vided in said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all parsons interested therein
an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and re-
ports, and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the
City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the property and area proposed to be changed from the
zone in which it is now situated to a different zone, as
hereinafter set forth, is more suitable for the zone in which
it is now incorporated and that a change of zone should not
be granted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows, to wit:
Lots 78 and ?9 of Tract No. 2402, described as
that portion of the southeast one quarter of the
southeast one quarter of the northwest one
quarter of Section 17, Township 4 South, Range
10 West, partly in the Rancho Los Coyotes and
partly in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa
Ana, all in the County of Orange, State of
California, the south half of the northeast
one quarter of said Section 17 is shown on a
map of Tract No. 64.7 recorded in Book 20, page
34 of Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the

County Recorder of said county lying within
the following described boundary lines:
Beginning at a point in the center line of
Euclid Avenue, as said center line is shown
on the map of a Record of Survey filed in
Book 27, page 11, of Record of Surveys in
the office of said Recorder; distant thereon
North 0° 18' 00" West 148.62 feet from the
intersection thereof with the center line of
Orange Street as shown on said Record of
Survey Map; thence South 89 42? 00" West
152.49 feet; thence parallel with said center
line of Euclid Avenue South 0 18' 00" East
150.01 feet to said center line of Orange
Street; thence along said center line of
Orange Street North 89° 10 25" East 152.49
feet to the point of beginning,
(said lots are located at the Northwest cor-
ner of Euclid Avenue and Orange Avenue.)
remain in the R -1, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE in which it
is now incorporated, and that the reclassification to C -2,
GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, as recommended by the City Planning
Commission in its Resolution No. 188 Series 1 954 -55, be
denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 26th day of July, 1955.
