RESOLUTION NO. 2518
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
ADMINISTRATOR AND THE CITY ATTORNEY TO EXAMINE
OR CAUSE TO BE EXAMINED THE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
FORMATION OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1954 -1 TO
DETERMINE THE VALIDITY OF SUCH PROCEEDINGS AND
AUTHORIZING THEM TO REQUIRE THE ENGINEER, J. R.
LESTER BOYLE, TO FURNISH ANY INFORMATION NECESSARY
TO ASSURE THE CITY THAT SAID PROCEEDINGS ARE
BEING VALIDLY CONDUCTED AND AUTHORIZING THE PAY-
MENT OF ALL EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY
OR THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
WHEREAS, the City Council has employed J. R. Lester Boyle to do
certain work in the formation of an assessment district under the Improvement
Act of 1911, known as Assessment District 1954 -1; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said proceedings should be
carefully examined and supervised during the course thereof in order to assure
their validity when completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the City Administrator and the City Attorney be, and they are
hereby, authorized and directed to examine or cause to be examined said pro-
ceedings or to require said Engineer, J. R. Lester Boyle, to furnish such
information and opinions as to the sufficiency and the legality of said pro-
ceedings as may be necessary to determine whether or not said proceedings have
been or are being properly conducted and to do anything necessary and proper in
connection therewith; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any expense incurred by the City
Administrator or the City Attorney shall be a City charge.
