1954-2468WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on or about the 26th
day of May, 1953 the City Council did duly adopt and pass
Resolution No. 2157 authorizing the City of Anaheim to join
with a group of other cities in opposing the application of
The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company for an increase
in rates; and
WHEREAS, on the 9th day of February, 1954 the City
Council did adopt Resolution No. 2345 providing for the with-
drawal of the City of Anaheim as an opponent or contestant in
said proceedings; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it would
not be to the advantage nor best interest of the City of
Anaheim to withdraw from said proceedings.
NOW, THER.EFOijE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 23ii5, heretofore
adopted by the City Council, be, and the same is hereby, re-
scinded; and that Resolution No. 2.157 in all respects be, and
remain, in full force and effect.
