1954-2451A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT CERTAIN CHARGES FOR PUBLIC SERVICES
RENDERED BY THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ARE DE-
LINQUENT AND DECLARING THEM TO BE LIENS
UPON REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE PERSON
TO WHOM SUCH SERVICES WERE RENDERED, AND
PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION THEREOF AT
THE SAME TIME AND IN THE SAME MANNER AS
ALL TAXES ON REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY,
AND AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO
PLACE SUCH CHARGES UPON THE TAX ROLLS AND
TO COLLECT THE SAME WITH THE TAXES UPON
SAID PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, Section 7400.15 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code provides that each applicant for public services to be
rendered by the City of Anaheim shall be required to pay the
constituted rates for electric, water, sewer or sanitation
services or sewage treatment charges and be governed by the
rules and regulations of the Public Service Department
adopted by the City Council, and further provides that if
the applicant be the owner of real property and if the bill
for such rates is not paid in accordance with the provisions
of said Code, that the amount of the bill shall become a
lien upon said property and be collected at the same time
and in the same manner as all taxes on real property in the
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said Section 7400.15 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code does further provide that on or before the
1st day of July of each year, the City Council shall adopt
a resolution finding and determining that such charges for
public services are delinquent and declaring them to be a
lien upon the respective parcels of property listed, and on
or before the 1st day of July of each year the City Clerk
shall file with the County Auditor of said County of Orange
a certified copy of said resolution, and said charges shall
be placed upon the tax rolls against the respective parcels
of real property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the following named person is the owner of the real
property set opposite his name, and that the code number
following such description is the County Assessor's Code
Number, and that the charges set out following the name of
the owner and the description of the property are the charges
for public services rendered by the City of Anaheim and have
not been paid in accordance with the provisions of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and are delinquent and have become
a lien and are declared to be a lien upon the property of
said owner; that the name of such owner, the Assessor's Code
Number and the amount of the charges due from said owner,
which is delinquent and has become a lien as aforesaid, are
as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the charges for public services
rendered by the City of A to the person above named,
and in the amount as above set forth be, and the same are
hereby, declared to be unpaid in accordance with the provi-
sions of the Anaheim Municipal Code and are delinquent and
have become and are hereby declared to be a lien upon the
real property of the person to whom such services were
rendered, which said property is more particularly described
and set forth hereinabove, and that said lien be filed
against said property in the Office of the County Auditor
of the County of Orange and placed upon the tax rolls against
the property of said owner and collected at the sane time and
in the same manner as all taxes on real property in the City
of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and he is hereby, authorized and directed to certify a copy
of this resolution, and that a copy of such resolution so
certified be delivered to the County Auditor of the County
of Orange, State of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved
