RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AiNAHEIM ACCErTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ALLEY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for alley purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim
for the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar; and
1HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Ana-
heim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOWT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of JOHN R. YANCEY and MILDRED
M. YANCEY, husband and wife to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following describe real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more partic-
ularly described as follows:
The Westerly 20 feet of the Southerly 662.99 feet of the
Easterly 351.20 feet, more or less, of the Easterly
rectangular one -half of Vineyard Lot H-1, as shown on
a Map of the Lands of Anaheim, recorded in Book 4,
Pages 629 and 630 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County,
California.
To be used for alley purposes.
he and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
;;ity of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar.
