A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCE.±TING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET WIDENING PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for street widening purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim
for the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar; and
THEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Ana-
heim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NO''T, THEREFORE, BE. IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of J. E. WALTER and AMELIA
E. WALTER husband and wife, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more partic-
ularly described as follows:
To be used for street widening purposes
The North ten (10) feet of the following described
property:
All that portion of the Rancho San Juan Cajon De Santa
Ana being a portion of Lot One (1) of Anaheim Extension,"
as said Lot One (1) is shown on a map of survey made by
William Hamel in 1868 and recorded in Book 3, Pages 162
164 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, California,
and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the North line of said Lot being
in the South right -of-way line of La Palma Avenue (60
feet wide), distant thereon 591.59 feet. West of the
Northeast corner of said lot; running thence West along
the North line of said Lot, 75 feet to a point; thence
Southerly 167.11 feet, more or less, parallel with the
Easterly line of said Lot to a point on the Northerly line
of Lot 77 of Tract No. 1356 as shown on a map recorded
in Book 46, Pages 25, 26, and 27 of Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Orange County, California; running thence
Easterly along the Northerly line of Lots 77 and 76 of
said Tract, 72.305 feet, more or less, to a point which
is 8.81 feet west of the Northeast corner of Lot 76 of
said Tract; thence Northerly 146.14 feet, more or less,
parallel with the Easterly line of said Lot 1 to the
point of beginning.

of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar.
