A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCErTING A GRANT DEED CONJVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET WIDENING PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for street widening purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim
for the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar; and
'THEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Ana-
heim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of NOHIAN E. KEUP and DOROTHY
E. KEUP, husband and wife to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more partic-
ularly described as follows:
To be used for street widening purposes
The North ten (10) feet of the following described property:
All that portion of the Rancho San Juan Cajon De Santa
Ana being a portion of Lot One (1) of "Anaheim Extension,"
as said Lot One (1) is shown on a map of survey made by
William Hamel in 1868 and recorded in Book 3, Pages 162-
1.64 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, California,
and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the North line of said lot being
in the South right of-way line of La Palma Avenue (60
feet wide), distant thereon 413.08 feet West of the North,-
east corner of said lot; running thence West along the
North line of said lot 77.84 feet to a point; thence
Southerly parallel with the Easterly line of said lot
345.77 feet to a point; thence N 73 541 25" E 75 feet to
a line which is parallel with the Easterly line of said
lot and through the point of beginning; thence Northerly
along said last- mentioned parallel line 324 feet to the
point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
«'ity of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar.
