BONDS, AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM BONDS.
7zv 3, on or about the 7th day of November, 1252,
Ordinance No. 821 was duly passed and adopted by the City
Council of thoity of Anaheim authorizing the issuance of bonds
of the City of Anaheim in the sum of ps500,O00. O to be sold to
obtain funds for the extension of the City ;eater Works and
authorizing the issuance of bonds of the City of Anaheim in the
sum of to be sold for the purpose of ob taini e f unc'_s
for an extension of the electrical system of the City of Ana-
Seim; and
WHEREAS, said bonds provide that both principal and
interest are payable in lawful money of the United States of
America at the office of the City Treasurer of the City of
Anaheim, California, or at the main office of the Bank of
America National Trust and Savings Association in Los Angeles,
California or San Francisco, California, or at any fiscal
agency of the City of Anaheim in Chicago, Illinois, or New
York, New York, at the option of the bond holders; and
WHEREAS, it is ant:ic ±eared that some of the bond
holders will require payment through a fiscal agency in Chicago
or New York; and
WHEREAS, the Bank of America National Trust and
Savings Association has offered to enter into an aci'eelent
with the City to honor payments when due on said bonds, wherever
demanded by the bond holders, and to bill the City therefor;
and
LEER AAS, the City Council finds that it would be a
great convenience to the City to have the Bank of America make
the payments of principal and interest upon said bonds and to
charge the same back to the Bond and Redemption Fund of the
City of Anaheim in the Anaheim Branch of the Bank of America;
and
WHEREAS, the Bank of America National Trust and
Savings Association has submitted to the City Council an agree-
ment dated November 30, 1953, providing for the payment of
such principal and interest on said bonds wherever the bond
holders elsct to have payments made, and to charge the same
to the Bond and Redemption Fund of the City of Anaheim in the
Anaheim Branch of the Bank of America, which agreement is hereby
approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, B E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement dated November 30, 1953,
this day submitted to the City Council by the Bank of America
be, and the same is hereby, approved, and that the

Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they Ere hereby, authorized
to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim;
and that all payments of principal and interest upon said
bonds be made in the manner and as set forth in said agreement.
