1953-2270WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of
Public Works, Division of Highways, has submitted a map
showing the route of a proposed State Highway in Orange
County between State Highway Routes 174 and 180, and extend-
ing through the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, a request has been made that the City
Council of the Oity of Anaheim determine whether or not a
public hearing before the City Council will be required to
establish the route of the proposed State Highway extending
through the City of Anaheim between Route 174 and Route 180;
and.
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that a public hearing before the Council to establish such
a route of the proposed State Highway through the City of
Anaheim between State Highway Routes 174 and 180 in Orange
County is not necessary,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that no public hearing shall be re-
quired to be held before the City Council to establish a
route through the Oity of a proposed State Highway between
State Highway Route 174 and State Highway Route 180 in Orange
County, California, as shown on a map thereof dated November
4, 1953, signed by Edward T. Telford, District Engineer of
the Department of Public Works, Division of Highways; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of
this Resolution be furnished to the Department of Public
Works, Division of Highways, of the State of California.
THE FOREGOING RE OLUTIO is signed and approved
