Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and are expecting the message. Project 2 – Festival Center Redevelopment. On the former Regal Cinema site. I STRONGLY OBJECT TO THIS PROJECT BEING BUILT!!! As it is a 447-unit multi family development, we can expect a minimum of 1200 cars traveling in and around the area of Santa Ana Canyon Road. This road, already daily, combines with the adjoining traffic merging with Weir Canyon Road traffic. This combination is already unbearable. People driving down Weir Canyon from Serrano Avenue , just cutting through "the hills" in order to get the Riverside County lines is terrible. Combined with the traffic already trying to avoid the traffic on the 91 Eastbound Santa Ana Canyon Road attempting to cut their commute using our already congested roads. And you want MORE PEOPLE TO BE ON THESE STREETS??? I don't think that is smart. This doesn't even include Amazon delivery, food delivery, guests, maintenance vehicles, pollution, etc. That is a SHOPPING CENTER! Why are you putting a 4 story apartment building on this land? Find a business that would satisfy and fits the needs of the community. Do you know what kind of INCREASED RISK OF FIRE DANGER chances you are creating? It already takes HOURS to get out of the hills. "Know your Way" DOES NOT WORK." That road dumps directly INTO Santa Ana Canyon Road...RIGHT WHERE OUR EXIT IS AND WHERE EVERYONE ELSE WILL BE TRYING TO GET OUT OF THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS. Most of Santa Ana Canyon Road from Lincoln Road/Santiago Cyn Road to Gypsum Canyon is TWO LANES!!! Only 2 small sections turn into 3 lanes, then they choke back down to 2 lanes. Anaheim Hills was not designed for this type of traffic and their is no space for all this traffic to go WHEN the next fire goes. And it will come. I hope I am not one of those statistics, my family or anyone that might be important to you.......then you will understand our strong concern! PLEASE DO NOT APPROVE THIS PLAN AS IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THIS AREA. 1 Brenda Robbins Homeowner since 1985 2
