NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that the City of Anaheim indemnify and save
18 harmless the said DONALD R. BATES against any and all liens aris-
19 ing for labor or materials in the removal of said buildings, and
20 indemnify and save harmless the said DONALD R. BATES against any
21 claims for damages to persons or property arising from the removal
of said buildings from the following described property:

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, INDEMNIFYING AND
SAVING HARMLESS THE PURCHASER OF REAL PROP—
ERTY AGAINST ANY LABOR AND MATERIAL LIENS
ARISING FROM THE REMOVAL OF BUILDINGS FROM
PROPERTY SOLD BY THE CITY TO SAID PURCHASER.
WHEREAS, on the 24th day of 1ebr r; 1953, the City
Council adopted Resolution No. 2110 authorizing the sale of the
hereinafter described property to DONALD R. BATES; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to remove housing units from
said property,and the City of Anaheim agreed to remove or have
said buildings removed; and
WHEREAS, the purchaser of said property has requested
to be indemnified and saved harmless against any liens for labor
or materials arising from the removal of said buildings from said
property.

of California, as per map recorded in Book 7,
page 41 of Miscellaneous Maps, of said Orange
County, Described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of
North Olive Street as described in deed to the
City of Anaheim, recorded February 2, 1926
in Book 625, page 367 of Deeds of said County,
Northerly 330.00 feet from its intersection
with the North line of La Palma Avenue as shown
on map of said Schaffer Oswald Subdivision;
thence Northerly 240.00 feet along said East
line and the East line of North Olive Street,
as described in deed to the City of Anaheim,
recorded August 9, 1938 in Book 958, page 80
of Official Records of said County; to the
South line of Julianna Street as described in
Resolution No. 1614 dedicating streets for
public use, a certified copy of which was re.
corded June 23, 1948 in Book 1658, pages 176
to 179 inclusive of Official Records of said
County; thence Easterly along said Southerly
line of Julianna Street 200.00 feet to the
Northwest corner of land described in deed
to George P. Grabill and wife, recorded July
8, 1952 in Book 2 353, page 599 of Official
