RESOLUTION NO. 2100
A RESOLUTICi'T 01 THE CITY COU TCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHE= A TT:_ A 7ARIAlTCE.
'7HEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
slid receive a petition from the property owner x10646011=
of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Oran ;e, State of California, described as follows;
A portion of Lot 34, Anaheim Extension, situated on the
east side of North Manchester Avenue, between West Center
Street and Lincoln Avenue, requesting permission to use
this property for the manufacture of garments and erect
a building in which to house this business. The owner
is Harold Berlin, 114 East Center Street, Anaheim, Cali-
fornia, and the property is presently zoned as C -2,
GENERAL COMMERCIAL.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hear
ing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said petition on
February 16, 1953 notices of 7rhich said public hearing were duly
riven as required by law and the 'provisions Of Section 2200.17 of
the Anaheim ianicipal Coda; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation
and studies 'i:acTe by itself and in its behalf and after due consider-
ation of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt
its Resolution Yo. 31 recommending to the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that Variance YO. 182 be granted upon the conditions
stated in said resolution; and
the City Council does find that:
1. There aro exceptions or extraordinary circumstances
or conditions applicable to the property involved or to the
intended use of the property that do not apply generally to
tho property or class of use In the same vicinity and zone.
2. That such a variance is necessary for the preserva-
tion and enjoyment of a substantial property right possessed
by other ?.property in tho same vicinity and zone and denied
to the property in question.
3. That the granting; of such variance will not be
materially detrimental to the public welfare or injurious
to the property or improvements in such vicinity and zone
in which the property is located.
4. That the grantin; of such variance will not adversely
affect the comprehensive general zoning plan.
NO7, THEREFORE, BE :T RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that a conditional zoning variance be, and the same
is hereby ,.;ranted to Harold Berlin, 114 East Center Street, A raheim,
California, for the use of said property for the follot:ring
nurno es Manufacturing of clothing and erection of a building
in which to house this business.
The City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke such
variance permit for good cause or failure of said owner their
heirs, successors or assigns to comply with the Anaheim Municipal
Code and regulations and the conditions herein. Said variance is
granted for t a term prescribed by the Anaheim municipal Code unless
other?:-ise s herein.
