A RESOLUTION 0':C THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AN? 1 L+'IE ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAH EII', CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR STREET I I?JENINC PURPOSES
vIIEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for public
purposes, to wit: An easement for street widening purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter described real. property to the City of Anaheim for
the sum cf One and no /100 (y Dollar; and
WHEREAS, the Cite Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to
accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, B'1 IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of Carl A. Fuchs and Lora E. Fuchs,
husband ,and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim
the following described real property situated in the City of Anahei
County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
The westerly 34.75 feet of that portion of Lot 27, Anabei_m
Lxtension, as shown on a Mt p of Survey made by William
Hamel in 1868 and filed in the office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, California,, described as follows:
Reginnin; at the point of intersection of the center line
of Vermont Avenue (formerly Broad Street) with the center
line of Paim Street; thence Northeasterly along the center
line of Vermont Street, 162.09 feet; thence Southeasterly,
parallel with the Easterly line of the ,parcel of land de-
scribed in Certificate of Title No. 7725, in the office of
the Registrar of Land Titles of Ora ;e County, California,
and tSae extension of said line, 257 feet; thence ;southwesterly,
parallel with the center line of Vermont Avenue, 162.09 feet
to a point in the center line of Pelm Street; thence North
westerly Tong the center line of Palm Street, 257 feet to
the ;point of beginning:
And wnich said above described real p-ope.rty is registered
land. The neoe of the lest owner being Carl A. Fuchs and
Lora E. Fuchs, huebaand and wife, and the nune r of the last
certificate being 14,939.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
DE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of
said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One and no/100 (;1.00) Dollar.
