CITY OF A1TAF= GRANT= :a VARIANCE.
Lot 6, Block K, Subdivision of Vineyard Lot "D -5 known as
114 116 North Clementine Street, requesting permission to
use the property for the Manufacture of Wearing Apparel,
consisting of Merits and Women's Shirts and Working Clothes.
The owner is F. D. Westfall, 2245 Tustin Avenue, Costa Mesa,
California, and the property is presently zoned as P -1,
PARKING.
:TFERIEAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hear-
ing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said petition on
November 3, 1952 notices of 7hich said public hearing were duly
given as recuired by late and the provisions of Section 2200.17 of
the Anaheim i unici.p al Coda; and
s!:1REAS, said Coi :Imission, After due inspection, investigation
and Studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consider-
ation of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt
its Resolution No. 17 recom_:zendi ng to the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that Variance Yo. 173 be granted upon the conditions
stated_ in said resolution; and
:THERIAS the City Council does find that:
1. Thore are exceptions or extraordinary circumstances
or conditions applicable to the property involved or to the
intended use of the property that do not apply generally to
the property or class of use in the same vicinity and zone.
2. That such a variance is necessary for the 'preserva-
tion and enjoyment of a substantial property right possessed
by other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied
to the property in question.
3. That the granting of such variance will not be
materially detrimental to the public welfare or injurious
to the property or i_mprovc;ients in such vicinity and zone
in r'_iich the ,property is located.
4. That the granting of such variance will not adversely
affect the comprehensive general zoning plan.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that a conditional zoning variance be, and the same
is :.;ranted to E. D. Westfall, 2245 Tustin Avenue, Costa
Mesa, California for the use of said property for the following
-cur posc;
The manufacturing of wearing apparel, consisting of men's
and women's shirts and working clothing.
The City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke such
variance 'permit for good Cause or failure of said owner or their
heirs, successors or assigns to comply with the Anaheim Municipal
Code and regulations and the conditions herein. Said variance is
granted for the term prescribed by the Anaheim Municipal Code unless
otherwise specified herein.
