'TIER AS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
clid heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its inten-
tion to change the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and
described and did fix a time and lelace for the holding of public
hearings thereon in the Danner and as prescribed in Ordinance :o.
774 of the City of Anaheim, and did duly hold and conduct two public
hearings to consider such proposed change of zone and did receive
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and

final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission clicl duly announce by
formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and
reasons for recommending an amendment to said Ordinance to effect
the proposed changes of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter men-
tioned and described; and
?HER:,AS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City P1
annin g Co_ r ission, the City Council slid thereupon fix
the 26th clay of August 19 52, as the time and the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of r.naheim as the place for a
-public hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give notice
thereof in the manner and as provided in said Ordinance No, 774; and
??HEPIAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearinr-;,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and
did ;give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard
and dicl receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the
recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
=20REAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from an R Residential-

Agricultural Zono to a C -1 Neighborhood Commercial
Zone, is more suitable for a C -1 Neighborhood Commercial
Zone than for R -2 Residential- Agriculturalpurposes, and that the
inclusion of said property and area in a c-1 Zone will increase
the value of said property and area and will not depreciate the
values of properties in adjoining zones.

7E IT 7URTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City
Council an amendment to Ordinance :o. 774 to amend said Ordinance to
accomplish the object herein found and determined to be necessary
and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this
