1952-2000RESOLUTION NO. 2000 REJOLUTION 0 T:21 CITY COUNCIL 01 THE CITY OF ._i,A HEIi:: Ii7) `i1G AND DETERhINING THAT A C:3_S11GT OF ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS CF THE CITY AND THAT O;DIEA7CL :'1O. 774 SHOULD N D TO ACCOiiPT ;Sts SAID CHANGE OF ZO2E `.ni RL S, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its inten- tion to c:harlce the boundaries of the zone hereinafter _mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding of public hearings thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Ordinance No. 774 of the City of Anaheim, and slid duly hold and conduct two public hearings to consider such proposed change of zone and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and AS, T:rithin a period of forty (40) days follm'ing the final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its findinvs of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recornriending an amendiiont to said Ordinanoe to effect the proposed ohenges of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter men- tioned and d. scribed; and iEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Co:amission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 12th day of August 19 52, as the time and the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of .naheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zono and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Ordinance No, 774; and ??2 SAS, at the time and place fixed for said public heari_;, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing; and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and dicl receive evidence end reports end did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planing Commission; and th,1 City Council does find and determine that the property ,.nd area proposed to be changed from an R Multiple family -1- residential Zona to anM -1 Light Manufacturing Zone, is more suitable for an M -1 Light Manufacturing Zone than for R -3 multiple family residentia]purposes, and that the inclusion of said property and area in a M -1 Zone increase the value of said property and area and will not depreciate the values of properties in au.joining zons. NUJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to ?tit The northwest corner of East Vermont Avenue and South Orange Street be changed from an R -3 multiple family residential Zone to an M -1 light manufacturing Zone. EE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City Council an amendment to Ordinance No. 774 to amend said Ordinance to accomplish the object herein found and determined to be necessary and proper.
