have filed with the City Council a written request, requesting; the
consent of the City Council of the City of Anaheim to the commence-
ment of proceedings for the annexation of the hereinafter described
territory to the City of Anaheim, and stating that said territory is
inhabited territory and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim, and
WHEREAS the City Council does find and determine that it
would be to the advantage and benefit of the City of Anaheim and to
the qualified electors residing within said territory to permit the
above named proponents to commence proceedings for the annexation of
said territory to the City of Anaheim, upon the conditions herein-
after set forth.
THEREI'ORE, EE IT R.ESOLV 7 by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the consent of the City Council be, and it is
hereby, given to said proponents to commence proceedings for the
annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the City of
Anaheim, upon the following conditions;
First: That said proponents shall obtain the approval of
the County Boundary C011mission before publishing a notice of intent-
ion to circulate a petition for the annexation of said territory to
the City of Anaheim.
Second: That no petition be circulated for the annexation
of said territory until after notice of intention to circulate such
petition has been published as rec_uired by law and a copy of such
notice and an affidavit of publication has been filed with the City
Clerk of the City of Anaheim within ten (10) days after the date
ublication of said notice, and a resolution has been adopted by tb
City Council of the City of Anaheim acknowledging receipt of s.:.

notice and a the circulation of said petition.
Third: That the circulation of any petition for the
annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim shall not by coi-
menced.until twenty -one (21) days after the publication of said notice
of intention to circulate the same.
The boundaries of the territory for '-rhich proceedings are
proposed to be commenced for the annexation thereof to the City of
Anaheim: are described as follows:
A tract of land lying within fractional sections 4, 5, 6 and sections 7, 8 and 9,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino, Base and Meridian, and fractional
section 1, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino, Base and Mer i^_ian, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the west City Limits Line of the City of Aaia eim which
point is also the Southeast Corner of La Palma Avenue and Euclid Avenue; thence norther),
along said West City Limits Line which line is also the East right -of -way line of Euclid.
Avenue, 270 feet to a point; thence westerly on a line parallel to the center line of
La Palma. Avenue and 240 feet northerly thereof measured j erpendicularly, a distance of
3,694 feet, more or less, to a point on the east property line of that parcel of land
described as the West 10 acres of the SEi of the Vii of Section 5, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West; thence northerly along said east property line 1,095 feet, more or less,
to the Northeast corner of said parcel which corner is also the Southeast corner of that
parcel of land described as the West 10.16 acres of the N of the SWi of said Section
5; thence continuing along, the East property line of said West 10.16 acres and said
property line extended, a distance of 1,364 feet, more or less to a point on the North
right -of -way line of Houston Street; thence westerly along the north right -of -way line
of Houston Street a distance of 1,690 feet, more or less to a point on the west right
of -way line of Brookhurst Street; thence southerly along the West right- of -v:ay line of
Brookhurst Street 40 feet, more or less, to the northwest corner of Brookhurst Street
and Houston Street; thence westerly along the North right -of --way line of Houston Street
5250 feet more or less to the West Section line of Section 6, Township L South, Range
10 West; thence contirluinr westerly along the extension of the said north right -of -way
line of Houston Street a distance of 80 feet more or less to its intersection with the
southwesterly right -of -way line of Manchester Avenue; thence northwesterly along the
said southwesterly right- of -way line of Manchester Avenue a distance of 3,000 feet more
or less to a point; thence south 80 411 50" West a distance of S5 feet more or less to
the existing easterly right -of -way line of Dale Avenue; thence southerly along said, east
right -of -way line of Dale Avenue to a point 400 feet southwesterly from the southwest
right -of -way line of Manchester Avenue as measured at right angles thereto; thence
southeasterly along a line parrlle1 to the said southwesterly right -of -way line of
Manchester Avenue and 400 feet perpendicular thereto to a point on the easterly ri'ht-
of -way line of Magnolia Avenue; thence southerly along the said easterly right -of -way
line of Magnolia Avenue to the north right -of -way line of La Palma Avenue; thence
easterly 210 feet along the north right -of -way line of said La Palma Avenue to a point;
thence northerly along a line parallel to and measured 210 feet at right angles thereto
to its intersection with the southwesterly right -of -way line of the Southern Pacific
Railroad Company; thence southeasterly along said southwesterly right-of-way line of the
Southern Pacific Railroad Company a distance of 260 feet to a point; thence northeaster)
225 -feet more or less to a point of intersection of the northeasterly right-of-way line
of Manchester Ave. and a line parallel to and measured 210 feet southerly at right anele
to the southerly right-of-way line of Houston Street; thence easterly alone said line
which is parallel to and 210 feet southerly of the southerly right -of -way line of said
HoE ,on Street a distance of 4,760 feet more or less to the easterly right -of -way line
of Brookhurst Street; thence northerly along said easterly right- of -way line of
Brookhurst Street a distance of 4.0 feet more or less to a point 210 feet southerly of
and measured at right angles to the southerly right-of-way line of Houston Street; then(
easterly along said line which is parallel to and 210 feet southerly of the s ^,id_ south-
erly right -of -way line of Houston Street a distance of 1300 feet more or less, to
point on the west property line of the West 10.16 acres of the NE- of the SW of Section
5, Township 4 South, Range 10 z1est; thence southerly along said west property line
1,080 feet, more or less to the southwest corner of said property, w'nir_h corner is also
the northwest corner of the West 10 acres of the SEj of the Su- of said Section 5;
thence continuing 1,365 feet more or leis, along the west property line of the said.. Wes
10 acres and said line extended to a paint on the south right -of -way line of LaPalma
Avenue; thence easterly along the saia south right -of -way line of La Palma.. Avenue a
distance of 4,030 feet,more or less to the 2o Ant of beginning.
