In addition to above listed compensation, members of the Fire Department shall receive $8.00 per day pay for ten listed holidays, pay to be received during the months in which holidays occur. Volunteer Firemen, $252.00 per month plus 50¢ per volunteer per month answering call. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim shall make deduct- ions of authorized amounts from emDloyeest salary payable to the Aetna Casualty and Surety Company in full payment of premium; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim shall make deduct ions of authorized amounts from employee's salary payable to the Occidental Life Insurance Company of California in payment of full premium for employees and for their dependents; 3E IT FURTHER. RESOLVED emergency over -time shall be paid at the rate of time and one --half when authorized by the Department Head and approved by the Administrative Officer; BE IT FURTF7R RESOLVED that all applicants for position upon the Pclice and Fire Departments of said City, and all other applicants for posit- ior:s with the City as the City Council shall from time to time designate, sLall successfully undergo a physical examination, the character of which shall be in the form approved by the City Council of July 1, 1941, or such o'.her form as the Council shall from time to time adopt. Such examination shall be upon said form to be furnished to the applicant by the City Clerk. The City shall not pay to exceed Seven Dollars, Fifty Cents ($7.50) for each such examination, IIo applicant shall receive said form from the City Clerk nor shall the City be liable for the cost of any examinations, unless the City Council by its order, or a Department Head, by written authorization, shall approve the applicant for such examination. The physician examining such applicant shall be of a school recognized by the Industrial Commission of the State of California, and shall be in active practice with an office in the City of Anaheim; provided, however, that no applicant shall be ex- amined by a physician who has examined or professionally attended either the applicant or any members of his family within five years immediately prior to such examination. Subject to the foregoing restrictions, the applicant may be examined by any physician he chooses. Immediately upon completing such examination, the examining physician shall deliver the report of such ex- amination upon said form, directly to the City Clerk. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that employees of said City shall have the following holidays as vacation with pay: New Year's Day Memorial Day Admission Day Lincoln's Birthday Independence Day Armistice Day Christmas. Washington's Birthday Labor Day Thanksgiving Day In the event holidays above mentioned shall fall on Saturday or Sunday, the following work day will be taken in lieu of the holiday. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that employees receiving compensation on an hourly basis who shall be required to work for said City on the above mention- ed holidays, shall receive pay for hours they work on such holidays; and the employees shall receive no pay for any holidays wherein they do not work, other than the holidays above mentioned. -5- AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all employees, who shall have one year's continuous service immediately proceeding shall be given a vacation of two calendar weeks with pay each year in addition to the holidays above set forth. Ai0 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that vacations must be taken within the calendar year cf each year, AD BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 1930, adopted February 28, 1952 is hereby rescinded.
