WHEREAS, 4S, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
slid heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its inten-
tion to chance the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and
described and did fix a time and glace for the holding of public
hearings thereon in the planner and as proscribed in Ordinance Ye.
774 of the City of Anaheim, and did duly hold and conduct two public
hearings to consider such :Cop osad change of zone and did receive
evidence and reports from persons interested tho r in; and

finAl hearing t lereon, the Planning; Commission dicl duly announce by
formal resolution its f indin2s of :facts and declare its opinions and
reasons for recommending an a enda3nt to said Ordinance to effect
the proposed changes of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter men-
tioned and dDsoribed; and
1: E L AS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City Planning CoAiaission, the City Council did thereupon fix
the 10th day of June 19 52 as the time and the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a
public hearing upon said proposed change of zone; and did give notice
thereof in the manner and as provided in said Ordinance .;o. 774; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and
did i D all o rsons interested therein an opportunity to be heard
and cl.icl receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the
recommendations of. the City 71an ling Commission; and
WHEREAS, th,) City Council does find and determine that the

property and area proposed to be changed from an R -A, Residential-
Agricultural Zone to an R -3, Multiple Family Residential
Zone, is more suitable for an R -3, Multiple Family Residential
Zone than for agricultural and residential purposes, and that the
inclusion of said property and area in an R -3 Zone -rill increase
the value of said property and area and will not depreciate the
values of properties in adjoining zones.
NO`;, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of 'Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to-“it:
The area beginning at the Northeast corner of Tract
No. 168 and extending Northerly along Walnut Street
a distance of 658 feet; thence Westerly a distance
of 658 feet; thence Southerly a distance of 658 feet;
thence Easterly a distance of 658 feet to the point
of beginning.

hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City
Council an amendment to Ordinance :o. 774 to amend said Ordinance to
accomplish the object herein found and determined to be necessary
and proper.
