7- 1H REAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
did heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its inten-
tion to change the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and
described and did fix a time and place for the holding of public
hearings thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Ordinance 1o.
774 of the City of Anaheim, and did duly hold and conduct two public
hearings to consider such proposed change of zone and did receive
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
:7.EREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by
formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and
reasons for recommending an amendment to said Ordinance to effect
the proposed changes of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter men-
tioned and described; and
IZHER ZAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix
the 13th day of May 19 52, as the time and the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a
public hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give notice
thereof in the manner and as provided in said Ordinance No. 774; and
:r'?..ER✓AS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and
did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard
and ctict receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the
recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from an R -A, Residential

Agricultural_ Zone to a R -3, Multiple Family Residential
Zone, is more suitable for an R -3, Multiple Family Residential
Zone than for residential and agricultural purposes, and that the
inclusion of said property and area in an R -3 Zone -rill increase
the value of said property and area and will not depreciate the
values of properties in adjoining zones.
NUJ, THEREFORE, BL IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to -?Tit:
Starting at a point 338.25 feet north of West Vermont
Avenue; thence westerly a distance of 550 feet; thence
southerly a distance of 338.25 feet; thence easterly
a distance of 550 feet; thence northerly to the point
of beginning.

EI IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City
Council an amendment to Ordinance :To. 774 to amend said Ordinance to
accomplish the object herein found and determined to be necessary
and proper.
